Duncan Baker
Senior Financial Executive
Duncan joined Alan Boswell Group in November 2024, working across the business with a focus on corporate and personal financial planning, inheritance tax, pensions, and investments.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Duncan qualified in 2005 before becoming Finance Director of a large, diversified family business. From 2019 to 2024, he served as Member of Parliament for North Norfolk, where he championed a range of financial, business, and community causes. He served on the Environmental Audit Select committee and took an active interest in renewable energy. His combined experience in business, finance, and public life, gives him a broad, strategic perspective when advising both individuals and businesses on wealth management.
Outside his professional role, Duncan is actively involved in the community. He is a Patron of the Holt Youth Project and President of the Sheringham Branch of the Royal British Legion. A committed fundraiser, he is also an experienced marathon runner, having raised over £120,000 for Norfolk charities.
