Policies terms are flexible and can be taken out for between one and six months. We can also provide an annual policy.

What happens when I pass my test?

Upon passing your test, your leaner driver cover will cease immediately, and you will need to take out a standard car insurance policy. If you have an annual policy with us, please contact us on 01603 649744 when you pass your test.

Would a claim affect my parents no claims bonus?

If you take out a learner driver policy that is short-term , then a claim won’t impact your parents’ no claims bonus. However, if you are a named driver on your parents’ policy and make a claim, this would affect their no claims bonus (if it’s not protected).

Is there an excess to pay if I make a claim on my learner driver policy?

Yes, an excess will be payable and this will vary depending on your policy.
