Alan Boswell Group Charitable Trust Spring 2025 Update

The Alan Boswell Group Charitable Trust continues to deliver on its commitment to make a difference to charitable causes in the areas that we operate in. We wanted to provide an update on the difference our donations are making to some of the charities.

In the last quarter, the Trust reviewed 83 applications and awarded over £121,645 in grants.

Here are some of the grants that were made:

We also received some fantastic feedback from charities that have received donations from the Trust in the past:

Centre4

Centre4 provides a space for the local community in North East Lincolnshire to use for various groups and classes. The Trust donated £10,000 in November 2024.

“The grant has been used to purchase furniture for the new space, including chairs, coffee tables, a dining set for our public living room and comfortable seating. We can now provide a space that the community can use to meet friends or find a warm space or company. Where the space previously was empty and lifeless, the intention with this project was to create something that felt like a warm and welcoming home. It is excellent to see just how this has been achieved and the results, with people now using the space daily.”

Norwich Science Festival

£8,000 was donated to the festival in October 2024.

“Wow, what a festival and what an incredible schools programme. Food Scientists to the Rescue went down a storm both around the 40 schools, then back in The Forum Gallery for the chance for more children and families to enjoy the fun learning. We couldn't have done it without your support, and we are so grateful. It enabled more children than before the opportunity to have this classroom experience together with workshops and other activities.”
